Oceanstorm Films (UK) Ltd is one of the UK's newest and most exciting independent production companies. Originally based in North West England, it specialises in new and original work utilising the best talent found on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.
Oceanstorm Films is committed to the development of fresh, bold, innovative, and commercial feature projects with sales and distribution designs on the domestic and international film markets.
Oceanstorm Films is the brainchild, and production vehicle, for the prolific screenwriting and direction talents of Nicholas David Lean.
Oceanstorm Films is currently in post-production on a £400k budgeted psych thriller, Hard Shoulder, and pre-production on a slate on two other features for 2010/11 - a thriller/horror (£1m) and a horror/comedy (£4.5m), as well as developing several scripts for larger budgeted film projects and a new war-driven three-part television drama. All projects from the infectious writing energy of the company's creator.
